Hello! My name is Karen. I am a former competitive gymnast and have enjoyed a 20-year career as a women's artistic and Team-gym coach. Having witnessed firsthand the incredible benefits to children, I founded Pivotal Gymnastics in 2022 with the aim of providing children with experienced coaching within their own community. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children of various ages and abilities. I look forward to sharing my experience and providing an opportunity for children to take their first steps into the sport.

Hi, I'm Karen. I am lead coach at Pokesdown and also coach at Queen's Park. After having 2 children, I decided to take a break from my profession as a Chiropractor to be able to spend more time with my family. I come from a gymnastic background having competed at a National and International level. I started coaching from the age of 16 and have experience in recreational, Women's Artistic, Men's Artistic and Team-gym disciplines. I am passionate about creating a positive learning environment and instilling a love of the sport in each of our members.

Hi, I'm Amy. I started gymnastics at a young age and competed in both Women's Artistic and Tumbling disciplines. I joined Pivotal Gymnastics to start my coaching career alongside my studies at sixth form. Having finished my A levels, I am currently taking a gap year before starting University. You will see me at Pokesdown and Queen's Park. I have achieved my level 1 coaching qualification and am now working to progress my development as a coach. I am keen to help every member of the club reach their goals, no matter their skill level.

Hello, my name is Anabel. I am currently studying at sixth form and have recently joined the Pivotal Gymnastics coaching team. I have a background as a competitive gymnast and have participated in the English Championships in Women's Artistic gymnastics. Presently, I am focused on training in the discipline of DMT (Double Mini Trampoline) and had the honor of being part of the English Squad in 2022. I am excited about pursing my level 1 coaching qualification to improve my coaching skills, and I have a genuine passion for making gymnastics fun.
